About Primus program

Primus is a programme for Higher Education Quality Enhancement in Estonia (2008–2015), which aims to improve the quality of higher education and increase the competitiveness of graduates.

The programme is financed by the European Social Fund and the Estonian state budget, and it is implemented by the Archimedes Foundation (Primus office is in the Centre for Higher Education Development).

Our cooperation partners are the Ministry of Education and Research, the Federation of Estonian Student Unions, the Estonian Information Technology Foundation and 21 Estonian institutions of higher education.

The total budget of the programme for 2008−2014 is 14.6 million euros, 95% of which comes from the European Social Fund.

Primus' final event
